CLORA HACKLE

April 8, 1933 – August 26, 2013

 

Clora Elizabeth Stout Hackle of the Beaver Dam Community, near DeKalb, Texas, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at her residence. She was 80.

 

Clora was born April 8, 1933, in Avery, Texas, to Kermit Lester and Irby Odessa Walker Stout. She was a Barber, a member of the Spring Hill Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army.  She was a member of the New Boston American Legion Post #488.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hackle, Jr., her parents and a son, Charles Kibler.

 

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Charlene and Louis Eich of Spring, Texas and Betty Jean Breneman of Lampasas, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law,  Lester and Bettie Stout of Hubbard, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Curly Russ of Oak Grove, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Bates Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Linam officiating.  Burial will be in Avery Cemetery in Avery, Texas under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.

 

Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.

 

Memorials may be made to the Avery Cemetery Association or to the New Boston Honor Guard.
