The Maud Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring the Maud Christmas Parade this year on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:30pm. This year’s theme is “A Gingerbread Christmas.”
Before the parade, the fire department will be hosting a baked potato dinner at the Maud High School Cafeteria.
The baked potatoes with BBQ will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The cost is just $7 per Plate and includes a drink and dessert.
The parade entries will be leaving from the school and traveling down Hwy. 8 to Main Street and stopping at the Methodist Church. Santa Claus will be at the Community Center at the end of the parade.
Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
The Fire Department will be collecting new unwrapped toys to help with the Maud United Methodist church Toys for Tots. The toys will be distributed to children in the Maud community.
