Former President H.W. Bush arrives at resting place in College Station

Former President George H. W. Bush arrives in College Station where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Barbara at his presidential library on the grounds of Texas A&M.

His arrival culminates his travels from Washington D.C on Air Force One following his funeral services on Wednesday in the nation's capital and the more intimate service today at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston.  He was carried the 70 miles to College Station from Houston on the specially designed and named Union Pacific 4141.

President Bush, fondly known as "41" was our President from 1989 to 1993 and will forever be known for his diplomacy and compassion, and his service to our country which ran from his service in the United States Navy at the age of 18, to his being the Commander in Chief that oversaw the overthrow of Iraq and our victory in Kuwait.
