Texarkana College Sage Program offers fall classes for citizens age 46 and Up

Texarkana College’s Sage Program will begin offering fall classes in September. These classes allow citizens in the “third stage” of life to engage in thoughtful discussion and participate in stimulating activities that enrich their day-to-day living.
Dr. Beverly Rowe, professor of history at Texarkana College and notable author on Texarkana history, serves as a host for the Sage program. Along with a group of community leaders, Rowe designed the program as a catalyst for mature adults who are age 46 and up to remain active in the community and network with others of similar interests.
“We offer stimulating classes that are just for fun,” Rowe said. “This fall, we have an extensive line up of programs including classes on topics that spark curiosity as well as travel and dining outings that foster fellowship and new friendships.”
